Volunteering at BCT is an excellent opportunity to meet new people, utilise and develop skills, built confidence, develop employment prospects as well as help provide an essential service to the community we are always looking for and have always relied on the dedicated support of volunteers.

Professional DeliveryOur volunteers help out with the office administration, drive our minibuses, escort passengers and help out in the vehicle yard as well as sit on our management committee. If you are interested in volunteering to work for BCT please get in touch.

D1 Drivers


Brent Community Transport & its subsidiary are seeking to recruit and welcome professional Minibus Drivers to its team; to deliver a range of accessible & standard transport services mostly in Brent but also in neighbouring boroughs around London

We offer:

  • Negotiable hours
  • Weekdays & Weekends work
  • Community drivers' hourly pay rate will be between £10.85 to £13.75
  • PSV drivers’ hourly pay rate between £11.50 to £14.50
  • Pension, uniform & job-related training

Full D1 UK driving licence is required (Clean/Max 3 points). Have good geographical knowledge of Brent and its neighbouring areas. Minibus Driver Awareness Certificate (MiDAS) is desirable but not essential.

Marketing & Fundraising Officer


Brent Community Transport (BCT) has been providing affordable and accessible transport solutions to the community (groups and individuals). We also help to tackle and overcome social exclusion experienced by the more disadvantaged persons in our community by providing a flexible and valued transport service.

We are seeking to recruit a Marketing and Fundraising Officer who will have responsibility for developing and delivering our fundraising and marketing strategies. This is a newly created post for a Senior Management and therefore:

You will work collaboratively with staff and external partners to source and develop fundraising and business opportunities, ensuring better financial sustainability for the organisation and its trading arm/s by focusing on and developing new income generation streams.

Terms:

  • 3 Years Fixed term
  • Full time, 40 hours per week / Flexible
  • Salary: £38,520 pa
  • 5% Employer Pension, uniform & job-related development training
